Pros

The payment was always on time. Never had any issues or discrapancies. Also the type of work is WFM only. You get WFH compensation to cover your electricity and internet expenses.

Kontras

Management is slow in passing the information to other teams and often sends the instruction at the last minute. Tasks that you do are not only your role’s key reaponsibilities, but you will also do tasks that should be handled by other departments. In general the work load was always high. Benefits include only private health insurance, and there are no ophtalmologyst appointments though it should be covered by company as per the law. There is no transparancy if your project is being closed. They will assure you they have a plce for you on another project just to give you some hope and make sure you will deliver until the last day on the project. All of the sudden they’ll tell you there are 0 opportunities within the company and leave you hanging + try not to follow the process as per your country’s law so make sure to check everything carefully before signing anything. In general, would not recommend.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Kontras

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
