Pros

> Really nice workplace overall. One thing I appreciated was having restrooms and water dispensers right on the production floor. It saved a lot of time since you didn't have to leave the area just to refill your tumbler or use the restroom. > > They also provided free lunch every day. The meals were on a rotating menu, and while some dishes were a bit bland and others were just average, it was still a nice perk. After all, free food is free food.

Kontras

> Some team leads were not well suited for leadership roles. A few displayed unprofessional behavior, including bullying and turning a blind eye to rule violations, which created a negative work environment. However, this does not apply to all leaders. There were also several team leads who treated employees with respect, led by example, and genuinely deserved more recognition for their efforts and leadership.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Kontras

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
