Pros
Long hours and the work load at least keep you making money in a bad economy. When i first came here to get off the over the road type of driving, it was working and i had at least 3 of 4 weekends off. I didn't make as much money but the time off eas worth it, at least for me. The medical benefits were not perfect, but were more affordable than a few of the other companies.

Not enough time to balance my life at home. I could use more time off to accomplish things at home, especially time with the family or friends and hobbies. Lost a few benefits in the last few years. I got home most every night, but, had just 8 hours (Tx. in state rule) to get home,eat and do chores, sleep and get back in time for next load. But this is not for everybody. Most trucking companies operate on long hours.
