Pros
It is great working from home and the pay is not bad. When you are in a "permanent" role, you are salaried. This has its pros and cons but mostly pros. If you are on a good project and have good management with reasonable deliverables, and are on a project with good hours it can be a dream. Key work-IF.
Kontras
Depending on the project/hours/manager/client/deliverables for that project it can be a nightmare. Your job is ALWAYS on the line. It does not matter how long you are have been with the company, if they need to ramp down then you are basically fired unless you can get hired on another project. If you in a leadership role then you have to apply and hope to get an interview for the opportunity to work at that project. If they cant find you a position then you are fired. Once we had a project ramp down right in the middle of it and over 200 agents were fired and a bunch of team leads and a manager. You live your life on edge knowing that at any minute you could lose your job, there is no sense of job security.
