Pros

This is hard to give a # to. During my initial account with H&R Block the job was pretty smooth most of the time. I was hired in late Feb I think. That contract lasted until April 13th-18th. Which I was never told of. On April 12th or 13th they fired about 10 people while I was working. Just said they didnt perform well enough. I trained with one of these people and he absolutely knew more info than anyone else that I mentored with. Once I got hired I noticed everyone taking smoke breaks every 15-20 minutes. Im a smoker. I smoke about 3-4 times per 8 hours if my job allows it. Not every 20 minutes. So after tax day everyone got reassigned. EVERYONE knew AT&T was complete crap and you wouldnt last a month. Nobody wanted the account. The trainers...lol. They were ghetto trash. Serious concerns about Human resource at that place? Id have a better Personnel pool hiring bartenders...\

Very accomplishing environment, I enjoyed speaking with customers.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
