Pros

- Every employee are heavy users of Telepresence and video - no or very little audio calls - Great people - great empowerement - Technology and market leader - Strong customer focused pragmatic executiuon - not much red-tape/process - Fantastic opportunity to change the way people communicate with the pending Cisco acquisition

Kontras

- Although Telepresence and video is heavily utilized for internal communication, there are still travel needed to visit customers and partners

Pros

Great place to work if you are interested in work/life balance. The company sells videoconferencing so employees ( depending on manager approval) can work from home. Free lunch in Reston and Oslo offices. Average age early thirties.International crowd in you work in the headquarter offices

Kontras

very few opportunities for growth, salary below average. People are not particularly bright ( after all you don't need a master to work for TANDBERG USA), so not many opportunities for learning new methods or management. Good positions are only given to Norwegians. Marketing department has very bad management, a lot of micromanagement. Beware of any job in product marketing or global marketing as managers are terrible.
