Kontras
Frequent company-wide reductions in headcounts in recent years. This has led to lots of anxieties and a significant decline in morale throughout the company. Teams that carry heavy loads continue to be stretched thin due to cuts and continuous introduction of new initiatives. The treatment and navigation post-layoff is very unfortunate and disheartening. After so many years, I sincerely wish I didn't feel this way but I feel compelled to be as honest as I can about my experience. There was a time when Sysco felt like home, and the place I wanted to hang my hat when it was time to close the book on my career. Somewhere in recent years, the culture continued to shift away from something I felt as proud to be a part of as I once was. I can't speak for all but I know this is the sentiment of many...
