Pros

Their pay is regular. Location of the office is convenient

Kontras

Very insecure management. Dont have good ideas you will get redundamt. Under resourced, overworked, pushed all decent people from acquisition companies out the door.

Pros

Hours are nice, holidays off

Kontras

Seems like a very chill place to work but when they constantly stressed during the interview that it's pretty chill and everyone is nice, I should've seen the red flags. The owner is probably the most nit picky person I've ever met in my life and could find a thousand things you're doing wrong or that irritate her. There's blatant favoritism by upper management towards certain employees. They would constantly find things I was doing and berate me for it even though everyone else was doing it.

Pros

Provides stock annually, every employee gets a thousand shares. And like with many companies, some smaller teams are great to work for and can get you a ton of experience that you could otherwise not get easily in the Sri Lankan job market. Additionally, the actual Australian operation is going well and is managed well from what I can see, it's a rather bit unfortunate that the Sri Lankan operation isn't managed as well.

Kontras

Superloop is ultimately a boring telco similar to dialog at the end of the day, don't expect anything too different just because its an australian telco. They try to brand the Colombo operation as a tech company but that's a terrible joke. The work hours are difficult and you don't get either australian or sri lankan holidays, and apparently that comes with no added salary either, make of that what you will. Also salary increments are limited to a maximum of five percent annually and you must be in office three days a week (else you are not eligible for annual salary increments). Also It's not a fancy office setup either, it looks and feels like a call center, Basically we’re packed in here like commuters on a rush-hour train. There's also a good chance the Sri Lankan operation will cease to exist in the next 5 years and the operation will be moved to the recently opened Philippines branch.
