Pros

1. Free slices of bread at breakfast, M-F. 2. Cubicles to work out of if you don't like working from home. 3. A predominantly Asian (Chinese, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese) workforce culture, where I feel at home. CEO is Taiwanese and executive staff. 4. Healthcare, Vision like most companies. 5, Masks are mandatory in the office thankfully, due to many employees with covid coming into the office.

1. Higher management is mired in the past and unable to change to create strategies that are competitive in the market against competition.  2. An extremely high turnover rate brought on by a lack of assistance and tools for new hires and existing workers. 3. Internal processes cause a cutthroat atmosphere in sales. 4. Have to physically come into the office M-F, even though there is no need to.

I have enjoyed working in the Supermicro IT & DataCenter infrastructure group. It's an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in some of the most impactful trends in the industry, including AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, high-density computing, and next-generation data center design. As an IT Director focused on Applications and data center infrastructure, I have been able to work with talented, dedicated engineers and business leaders to meet complex customer requirements. The company moves quickly, embraces innovation, and provides opportunities to make meaningful contributions rather than getting lost in layers of bureaucracy.

The pace can be demanding, and priorities sometimes shift as the business continues to grow rapidly. There are times when processes, tools, and organizational structures are still catching up to the company's expansion.
