Pros

Highly energetic co-workers. The company encourages building relationships and having a "best friend at work". There is opportunity to change roles, but only at your manager's discretion.

- There is absolutely NO work-life balance. Be prepared to be burned out. - The pay is the worst I've seen compared to the company's top competitors. - Management is COMPLETELY metrics driven. - Promotions are based on the relationships you build, not the work you do. - The turnover is extremely high. - Most employees have worked with the company for 3 years or less, and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

After dedicating 8 years to Stryker, I was extremely disappointed to learn upon separation that only 40 hours of my accrued PTO would be paid out, despite having accumulated approximately 240 hours. What is most frustrating is that this was never clearly communicated during discussions with HR regarding my departure. Had I known this policy earlier, I could have made different decisions about using my earned time off. Employees invest years of service and should have complete transparency regarding how accrued benefits are handled upon separation. I am sharing this so current employees can educate themselves on the PTO payout policy before making career decisions, as this was an unexpected and costly surprise for me.
