If you are not connected to the right stakeholders in management, very little can be done in terms of customer feedback, product feedback and dev and even your own benefits. HR and legal practices are basically non-existent, and there's no objective measure of performance, so benefits are arbitrary and subjective. Worked there for 3 years, had 3?4? new CEOs.
