Pros
The large majority of the people who work for Stickley are well intentioned. They care about each other, care about Stickley, care about their roles, and care about supporting one another. If you get the opportunity to work at the corporate office, you need to request a factory tour. It's a beautiful experience to watch such a diverse group work together in harmony. Language barriers, job responsibilities, and position status couldn't stop Stickley's employees from laughing with one another, smiling when they pass each other in the hall, and support their team members. they also offer incredible benefits to their employees
Kontras
Stickley has been around for 125 years- some of their systems are outdated or manual. There is a lot of tenure and experience, but not a lot of opportunities for the younger generations to grow or progress. They desire succession planning (promoting within) but are working to manifest it. They will "move you to the work" which could hinder you from further developing skills in a specific area.
