Pros
The people are good! Those who have been there since before the buyout know what our potential was. The work itself (on the admin side, which is what I can speak to), is really fun. A good brand to work for.
Kontras
Where to begin? The buyout of StickerGiant from Resource Label Group was absolutely the beginning of the end. We’re the first “brand” they’ve purchased, and they’re way out of their league in terms of support or management. Their old-school tactics don’t work in management, people care, marketing, or customer support. Fortunately, StickerGiant had a good base team to keep the ship afloat…until they brought on a new “president of e-commerce.” Beyond the fact that her tactics are uneducated and one-sided, she *illegally* hired people by poaching from her former employer. Multiple times. She went above people’s heads who had been on teams doing good, honest work for years in the positions she hired her friends for A - without ever posting the jobs and B - without posting the salaries (both of which are illegal in the state of Colorado). Her friends are not good at what they do, which makes their hires even shadier. Take a look at a team who had a mass exit and ask yourself, “is this person good at what she does?” Her deep lack of understanding as to how stickers are different than shoes means she’s removing things that work in favor of what she thinks will work, all while tanking a brand that so many worked years to build up. Shame on you. I’ve never been a burn-it-down person, but your terrible mistreatment of employees along with illegally back door hiring your friends means I’m not going to be silent about how poorly you run a business.
