The trainee schemes are non-existent - yes, you do apply for a 'scheme' but it feels more like a way to get fixed term labour that do not count towards headcount, rather than a scheme where they genuinely invest time and effort into making you a future leader at the company. Pay rise is disappointing - even if you are judged a master at your job, you still only get 4% pay rise. IT systems and development is very narrow - getting something like a laptop (essential for your job functionality) is extremely difficult if you are not a full-time employee.
