Higher ups do not care about employee happiness. My manager had received 10 valid HR complaints from different employees and no action was taken. They make you take constant job satisfaction surveys but despite low rates no action was taken. A huge issue is that you can be amazing at your job and have outstanding numbers and never advance in the company if you are not "besties" with your manager. Also, your manager can prevent you from requesting a transfer or applying for another position despite being qualified and capable. Harassment is ignored by HR. I quit due to these cons. I'm not alone in this either. Many people experience this stuff daily in claims.
