If you do as they say not as they do, multiple people received job promotions and given less work from it. They promote for no other reason then you fit in, how you perform your job is not a factor on performance reviews.

Toxic work environment: poor communication, leadership with no direction or clue what they are doing, fighting between leadership along with relationships within leadership, office drama, mean girls front office click, multiple employees who received HR lectures on "being nicer" to the overly-sensitive employees, HR department that tells people they hate their job and regret hiring people in but turn around and repeat anything you say to leadership after. Overall, a do as I say not as I do office place. Leadership hands out books published in 1936 on how to behave in the workplace which states that you should not Criticize, Condemn or Complain. Do not have an opinion opposite of theirs. You will only survive as a yes ma'am person with liberal beliefs and you must stroke their egos, especially front office. You'll be told to act like them taking little break, working unpaid overtime, and to check in with the receptionist anytime you need to do anything outside your office.
