Pros
WFH policies great for families, centrally located for reasonable commutes, not often bothered after hours or weekends. Not a lot of travel at all, if that's something you prefer.
Kontras
Astounding lack of self-awareness by the C Suite execs, who offer lip service, endless self-aggrandizing, and virtue signaling, but no real plans. Leadership in the music (ahem, "content dept") are in over their heads and offer no direction or ACTUAL leadership. Processes that once worked were obliterated as pointless power moves but ended up being months-long exercises in time wasting. Layoffs earlier this year seem to have affected mostly employees of color, which contradicts all the commitments to diversity the C-suites claim we are so dedicated to. Completely clueless as to who competitors are, no understanding of the immense cultural value and disruptive opportunities that come with the SoundCloud brand/legacy, and devoid of real innovation. Really disappointing all around.
