The work is nice and steady without ever getting into crunch nightmares. The people here are very human and make it a joy to be at work. One of the longest jobs I've ever had and worth the commitment. I can easily recommend working here to just about anyone in software.

Old Foster City campus is a bit dingy but they've moved to a much nicer facility at Bridgepointe now. There's a less prestige in SCEA compared to FAANG companies but there's also a lot more stability.
The people and perks are great and money was a big step up from Indie games. I have maintained friendships that started at SCEA and it's been 15 years since I left.

Some of the games aren't AAA but I still maintain this company was a life changer for me.
Crunch can be a bit brutal if you are on a sports title.
