Pros
-Extremely entrepreneurial leadership team. Employees are smart & even more importantly very passionate about the solar mission. The people are the best part. -Multiple acquisitions (2nd & 3rd largest competitors acquired) in last few years; culture is MUCH improved from the volatile company it was a few years ago when it was acquired. People really care about one another. -Company is profitable...not something you can say about most of its competitors. Tons of new opportunities since we're the industry leader.
Kontras
-If you're looking for a steady 9-5 job where you keep your head down, this startup-like culture probably is not a good fit for you --and I think that's what a lot of these GlassDoor ratings reflect. It's not so much the hours, but things move fast, priorities shift, and the solar industry can be cyclical or affected by regulation. Not as much planning as a large corporation. But great for someone who likes a challenge. -Solar market can be a "solar-coaster" & the company has had to rightsize with the market at times which impacts the projects you're working on...but I think Soligent will continue to be on top in the years to come. And there's nothing more rewarding then working in an industry that does good, and where else would you rather be than the leader in that industry??
