Pros
Paid good salaries to lure senior people in (only to fire them later when sales didn't take off) Nice and professional consultants (management not so much)
Kontras
CEO and management are totally clueless about Salesforce business. That operation will never be successfull. I hope they sell whatever business is left after this (two change negotions in 2025) and concentrate on ServiceNow that they are apparently quite good at. Management doesn't care about people or long-term outlook. They look at short term numbers and fire people off, thus killing any chance of growth or managing existing projects successfully. Customers will not be pleased I'm sure. Sofigate is focused in Salesforce market on the Non-profit and Public sectors, which is a bad strategy when thinking about cash-flow and amount of potential customers. There's only a handful of private sector customers. This bad strategy combined with almost non-existing sales efforts led to multiple people getting fired. I'm quite sure nothing changes in the future either. In terms of culture, there is none. Not inside Salesforce team anyway. There's an occasional team dinner few times a year, but other than that, the comradery is non-existant. I regret joining this company, because it took my career in a direction where I really didn't want to go. There just wasn't enough opportunity, because they don't know how to sell people or projects. I was lured in by good salary and lots of promise, but it didn't turn out to be true. If you are a Salesforce pro considering joining, well... maybe think again. There are far better consultancies in the market that care about their people and listen to them, and also have a future in the SF market unlike this operation here.
