Great office perks: Free lunch, snacks, and social activities made the workplace enjoyable and helped with networking.

High expectations for independence: Even as an intern, you were expected to work almost like a full-time employee, which could feel overwhelming. Stressful environment: The fast-moving teams and high performance standards created pressure that wasn’t always easy to manage. Pros

Flexibility of working remotely for remote workers, reimbursement for cell phone and gym expenses (remote workers). Pay is decent. Company viability seems relatively good.

Company culture and morale tanked when the current ELT came onboard. Strong surveillance culture, shady communication, sneaky layoffs are becoming a new norm with this ELT. Opportunities for career growth are much more limited now. Benefits are getting cut - “unlimited PTO” is limited, reduced company holidays. Stock based compensation is stingy at best. Even as a top performer , don’t count on getting equity refreshes or raises. Intent on replacing humans with AI vs augmenting human work with AI.
