5yThank you for sharing your thoughts. As I’m sure you’ll recall, Be Empathetic is our northstar operating principle and as such we value all feedback, both positive and negative as it helps us continually improve.
We have grown from ~105 to 350+ in 12 months, including taking the Engineering org from ~30 to 100. This pace of growth is not optimal for everyone, and we have lost a handful of folks, such as yourself, because of this. This is a natural part of any scaling startup’s journey.
There has never, however, been any period of time where “70-80%” of engineers have turned over (for any reason). Not within a 6-12, 18, or even 24 month, period. This is empirically simply not true. In fact, 7-8% is far closer to reality.
