It was fine in the beginning.

Things changed for the worse after new leadership, particularly the CRO, came in. There was little communication, no real effort to understand the people or the work, and decisions felt disconnected and abrupt. A large number of employees were laid off without warning or proper explanation, despite ongoing performance. It created a sense that people didn’t matter — just internal shifts no one was informed about.
