Kontras
In my experience, the leadership culture felt unprofessional, cliquish, and dismissive. There was no real training or onboarding, which contributed to constant turnover and a stressful environment with no work‑life balance. PTO and benefits were far below industry standards, and the workload made it nearly impossible to use them anyway (in fact, taking PTO was frowned upon). Leadership often spoke down to employees, especially those they labeled as “low salary,” and there was no clear direction or support. When employees asked for guidance, the response was often some version of “that’s why we pay you a lot of money,” rather than actual leadership. From my perspective, the company struggled to deliver on its payment integrity work. Instead of meaningful findings, there was pressure to recycle old issues or stretch to identify savings that weren’t really there. This created a disconnect between the company’s stated values and what was happening internally. Turnover was so high that account management couldn’t keep up with customer needs, leaving clients waiting for responses because the team was overwhelmed. The environment often felt more like a churn-and-burn operation than a professional workplace. Based on my experience, I hope prospective employees and customers take a close look before committing. A company’s culture matters, and how employees are treated ultimately affects the quality of service delivered.
