Pros
Remote, great co-workers and an easy job for the money if you’re good at sales or speaking with people.
Kontras
Where do I start, typical call center , they have no sick pay if you are sick you get points and you have to use your PTO time if you have it. (So don’t have an emergency situation….))They don’t care about you or your health period The life work balance is awful. You are just a number to them, they don’t care about you. It seems like they play with your numbers for commission and pick and choose who gets the calls and skill levels. The leads are awful and the customers complain that they were mislead to sucker them into connecting with the company. Some customers complain that they have been called several times a day by us and also say they have already been transferred 2 or 3 times by the time they get to me only to be transferred again. Agents hang up on you often in a transfer and or don’t say anything. Some leads are disrespectful and talk to you like you’re stupid and when you ask a question they answer you with a question rather than the answer or don’t respond at all. And don’t bother giving a notice when you quit they don’t honor that as respect. Repetitive back to back calls with the same verbiage, which is typical for a call center job so you know what you’re getting into but still it can become a bit much especially when you’re getting bad leads or your calls are being messed with, and your skill level changed even when you’re always at the top of the board typically . No real room for growth .
