Pros
It is a good start up which is not very hectic. You get to learn a lot, but only till an extent. Seniors will help you just enough to get the job done and guide you, but anything more than that would be shunned away as "let's worry about this later, it is not related to your work".
Kontras
They have their whole engineering team in India. So the expenditure is pretty limited except for paying the senior staff. Even though they aren't profitable yet, they should pay good engineers around the market standard. But they try to get the job done as cheap as possible with way below industry standard pay. Promises are made that the employee will be given stocks which would amount to so and so after the company goes public, but literally no increase in the base salary.
