Too much politics for a space with 5 employees

Small knit team and at the time an amazing store manager. Many of us stayed because she worked there. The furniture is amazing and I enjoyed helping clients

The owner of the business was hardly around. He is rude, arogrant and demanding. He spews demands but never pulled his own weight. Would make mistakes and then blame others. When he was at the store he'd yell and swear at us - when he wasn't yelling he was unpleasant. No one wanted to be around him. We were understaffed, everyone had multiple jobs and the pay didn't match. No organization and he'd always have these meetings with changing plans. There were no weekends off and no option to rotate. Your lunch break was not personal time, you still needed to answer the phone and speak to customers.
