Some coworkers are cool And free (bad) food.

Leadership is lacking, pay is low, problems just are shrugged at, fingers get pointed but no solutions are given. Many people get away with breaking policies and rules because there is always reasons to not fire people, until you end up as a manager. The free food they advertise as part of the job is terrible.
