Transition is a process requiring appropriate training, tools, system integration and partnerships and all of these were lacking in the transition to one Skillsoft. Creating one company with one Finance, one HR, one Sales Team, one Sales Operations Team etc.. needs to be managed in a way that does not destroy the business and considers all factors to be cohesive. Clearly, this did not happen as hoped. A successful organization needs to be able to adapt when they have followed an unsuccessful path and when an organization refuses to change course, this is the result.
