I sensed a toxic, fear-based culture where enormous energy was wasted avoiding getting called out. I know of only a few sales reps that made quota, but instead of recognizing a systemic issue the company regularly but quietly lays off sales reps and then a few months later rehires new reps. There doesn’t seem to be a sales strategy beyond placing grinding pressure on sales. It wasn’t transparent, at least to me, how the company is performing and path to IPO or acquisition. Any questions regarding the future of the company were answered with “sell more.” I think the entire c-suite has turned over and current boys club favorites got the best opportunities and promotions, with very few women at any level of leadership.
