Horrendous mismanagement of the product. Simple have a "company values" poster on the walls and management always refer staff to it, despite not following any of the values themselves.
The two people at the top are running the company into the ground very quickly. It’s a vicious cycle:
- Hire/poach very talented people
- Ignore their expertise and dictate the decisions and how the work is done
- Work on a new product feature, instead of fixing the many bugs and other unfinished features
- Ignore developer advice, set idiotic timeframes and expectations
- Ignore any and all advice on tech stack, microservices and infrastructure
- Overpromise, underdeliver. Lie to customers, repeatedly
- Fire talented staff, and give everyone a very ambiguous reason why
- Repeat the process
There is no transparency in this place, it runs on lies. The whole company was majorly lied to about how much remaining funding there was, and numerous staff were even told to keep their mouths shut about their resignations, in order to minimise further staff wanting to leave.
Avoid this one like the plague.
