We have high standards for our sales representatives, but if you follow the guidelines we teach in training, and sell according to the model that we have found works, you can excel here. Our new compensation plan is designed to help our sales reps earn more, AND to help our customers get the highest redemption for their advertising dollars spent with us. We think it’s a win-win situation when everyone plays by the rules. We have quite a few seasoned sales representatives who would agree. One thing that really sticks out in your comment is “being forced to work on weekends.” That simply is not true. We value a healthy work/life balance, and we respect our employees’ time off. It’s true that some of our operation teams are in India, but we’re not outsourcing: they are company employees. Our parent company, Eli Global, operates offices all across the world, and ShopperLocal happens to have teams in Eli’s India office. Our customer service and billing teams are dedicated individuals who work US business hours to ensure that they are available when our customers need them. Furthermore, we have a few dedicated customer service individuals right here in the states as well.
