Pros
Met some cool people but this is very subjective. No pros about the company itself.
Kontras
Absolute toxic environment. They lie about the position- there is very little to no actual software development in this role. I never knew how to actually describe my job to others (including other software developers). Ridiculous sudden all-nighters when systems break (and they break often). You'll work your full shift and then suddenly have to work overnight because some thing broke or you'll work the entire weekend and then work the regular week. Then they will complain about how much OT is being billed. The on-call rotation is nonsense (stay awake past midnight to make sure overnight processes don't error and be in office by 7 am) and you are not paid for it unless something breaks. If something breaks in the middle of the night, expect to get in trouble if you don't hear the text message on the phone. The pay is very low. You could easily earn a higher base pay at an actual development job (that will help your career too) than you do with the base pay, overtime, and bonus combined at SFCU. This is truly a dead-end job for software developers. They have a lot of turnover for a reason.
