Pros

There aren’t many when comparing against other places I’ve worked or the thriving Silicon Valley job market.

Where to start... CEO pretends to value employees in the the gas that he says but allows managers to intimidate and does not allow employees to have opinions. Opinions are only reserved the executive team. If you have an opinion you will be shown the door. It is a cult like atmosphere with rampant brainwashing. Your well being will suffer here.

Pros

Employee-friendly company with a growth orientation. Growth of the company, which means accountability. But in a way that focuses on the machine, not the people, by which I mean, when a goal is missed or a problem occurs, the focus is on solving the problem and not on finding blame. The growth orientation also extends to employee growth. It's not always perfect, but the company consistently talks about how people can contribute and do good work and grow their skills and careers along the way.

As a partner of a publicly-traded software company it is a constant balance of art of science to prioritizing ServiceRocket's priorities and the software company's priorities. There is a little anxiety sometimes deciding when to priorities ServiceRocket's priorities and when to prioritize the partner software company. And how to communicate it.

I've been working at SR about 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The company culture is incredibly supportive, and my colleagues are always willing to lend a helping hand.
