They purposely hire on an ad hoc basis so you don't get the benefits. When you are ad hoc, they work you to the bone, especially in an office open on Saturdays. You are working 6 days a week and scolded if you take time off. You have to compete for permanent and there is A LOT of favoritism in the offices, ie Promotions based on whether you're well-known and liked.
