Pros

I would say the only pro was good benefits. Even though the pay was low (WAY below industry standards), the company did offer decent health benefits and a good amount of paid time off.

Kontras

There was a pervasive sense of negativity about the place that made it a very draining and toxic environment to be in. The CEO was very disconnected from the daily operations of the company and didn't seem to have a clear vision for the future. He was more interested in flaunting his latest designer shoes than running the company, which was very off-putting considering I was paid quite literally pennies on the dollar. Speaking of which, the pay was so low, I honestly don't know how people make ends meet working there. In fact, I currently make more money working at a gas station than I did while working at ServerMonkey. Throughout my time at ServerMonkey, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about the company's structure and dynamics. One thing I noticed was the micromanagement of managers and leads, which prevented them from making their own decisions and ultimately hindered their ability to effectively manage their teams. Often times the CEO would come to the warehouse and yell at employees to work harder, despite never actually being present much less actually working himself. In addition to the issues mentioned above, I also witnessed a lot of favoritism and politics within the company. It seemed that certain employees were given preferential treatment and opportunities for advancement, while others were ignored or even overlooked despite their hard work and dedication. Overall, my experience working at ServerMonkey was a very negative and draining one. It was clear that the CEO was more concerned with his own image than the success of the company, which was disappointing to say the least. In the end, I had to move on to a job that not only paid better, but also provided a more positive and fulfilling work experience.

Pros

A Fun and Collaborative Culture: Sure, the work gets done, but there's plenty of room for fun and games at ServerMonkey. The team is collaborative and supportive, and there's a real sense of camaraderie. It's a place where you actually look forward to coming to work (and that's saying something!). If you're looking for a company with a fantastic work culture, and a genuine appreciation for its employees, then look no further than ServerMonkey. This is a place where you can grow your skills, make a difference, and have a blast doing it!

Pros

None that I can mention!

Kontras

Working at servermonkey has been an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience. From the top down, this company is a breeding ground for unprofessionalism, favoritism, and lack of true leadership. One of the most glaring issues at servermonkey is the hiring of directors who seem to prioritize personal friendships over professionalism or competency. The directors, especially in sales, operate more like a clique than a team, and their leadership style is more about self-preservation than empowering others. Instead of supporting their teams and focusing on business growth, these directors are far more interested in making sure they remain in the CEO’s good graces, Even at the expense of the employees under their command. The Director, for instance, constantly belittles the salespeople, offering little to no constructive feedback. The CEO, unfortunately, mirrors the same self-centered mindset. It’s abundantly clear that their main concern is their own salary and personal advancement. There’s little to no awareness of the struggles faced by employees, who are often working paycheck to paycheck, hoping for a raise or better benefits that never materialize. The disconnect between the executive leadership and the rest of the company is striking. While the CEO thrives, the employees are left behind, dealing with a lack of resources, poor communication, and unrealistic expectations.
