Pros
GRC leadership is STELLAR from the top-down. Great communication, constant push to evolve the program and push employees to learn new things and become SMEs on technical areas which leads to promotions, etc. Budget gives us access to wonderful tools. Cross team collaboration has been getting better and better the last two years, with high availability of cross training and collaborative projects. Great way to gain more ownership and escape any monotony from typical tasks you deal with. Managers on GRC side of things are very flexible and support a great work-life balance.
Kontras
The only con I can think of would be competitive salary. The industry is VERY hot right now and the numbers recruiters are throwing at me are significantly higher than salary here. That said, they treat me so well here and I have so much ownership that I haven't been able to really give another company a chance. I wouldnt come here if you are chasing money, but definitely come if you want refreshing leadership, to work with new and top tier tools, and the ability to truly OWN your work and be recognized for it.
