ScanSource is progressive in lots of ways, like its support of the community and its ability to provide fun activities for employees.
Kontras
The culture is so toxic. Performance is not rewarded and burnout rate is very high. Everyone in Greenville knows someone who USED to work at ScanSource. Multiple business units mean a wide variety of leaders and conflicting opinions among teams. In order to do anything to benefit the entire company, Marketing has to get approval from an army of leaders and middle managers. Also, revenue in marketing equates not to actual revenue but to vendor sponsorships so the vision on how to progress is a little strange.
