-I have a very good team, and there's a lot of support and flexibility so if your editor like you're pitch you'll most likely get to cover the story
- Flexible work environment, most editors understand that in order to retain staff you need to respect people's work/life balance
- Lots of opportunity to cover a lot of different topics, really good for journalists starting out who need a wide breadth of experience

- Communication between levels is terrible. There will be times when someone will promise something, and there will be no follow-through
- The company is clearly run on a shoe-string budget, especially now, so don't expect any new equipment or anything state-of-the-art
- I've had numerous experiences were the work car and invoices haven't been paid for months, leading to issues in actually using work equipment
