Pros

The PTO is decent which you're going to mentally need. My manager is amazing but is burned out trying to shield us from the rest of Sage's toxicity. If all you want is a job and a salary, this might be the place for you.

Kontras

The VPs up to the executives only care about the stock price (and their bonus). Hundreds of millions in stock buybacks meanwhile the staff get told they should be grateful for their jobs and terrible raises. At this point the CFO is pinching pennies any way possible I won't be surprised if they cancel raises or the year end bonus. Company is only hiring contractors now for new roles. CEO when announcing return to office requirements during company meeting said "there's the door if you don't like it". Toxic people everywhere especially in Atlanta. Animosity across groups battling to justify their jobs. VPs can act however they want and are shielded from being held accountable for their actions. Company performance targets for non-sales bonuses are set so high they will never pay your full bonus advertised. Stock options are no longer offered to non-VPs. Introverts are not setup to succeed here. Senior staff here do not have career paths and there are no growth opportunities.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Kontras

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
