- Was hired as developer but converted to tester/testing script developer. The management in the project team did not even ask if we would like to or happy about the decision.
- Technology and architecture is very complex; but the business and members in the project team were not willing to share knowledge.
- No development standards and bad or even no documentations at all, reverse engineering is common practice. Code reviews only a recent active initiative which is bad, what were they doing previously for code quality?
- Finger pointing from HQ to KL if any issues, one of my project experience: a project completed development 4 months back, but none of the project manager or product owner follow up in fact weekly meeting we did ask for status. Only during SIT with external vendors application, they realized the development was wrong and some requirements were missing.
- Power decisions mostly from HQ which is common; the bad is they would like KL to be listener and follower instead of being innovative.
