Pros
-The people (both employees and clients) are amazing, I really can't stress this enough. I have not seen this level of camaraderie at any of the other companies I've worked at. -Management does listen to suggestions. We have a change management process and anyone can submit ideas which are reviewed on a weekly basis. -Owner cares about his employees and is extremely generous when it comes to bonuses. It's nice to see your team's hard work pay off for everyone, rather than just to make one person rich. -If you are willing to work hard and get certifications, the sky is the limit here. I came to SWAT about 5 years ago as a level 1 engineer and have been able to move up as fast as I was willing to push myself. Having worked at Boeing previously, this was a 180 shift - you are rewarded at SWAT based on talent and work ethic as opposed to just being senior. We fall very much in the "work hard, play hard" category, and while that's not for everyone, the people who like that culture seem to love it here.

-This is IT and it can be stressful at times. The silver lining is that your team (which is amazing and full of really talented people) is always there to help if you need it. -Coming here from a very structured environment 5 years ago was pretty jarring, as there were not very many processes or procedures in place. This has steadily gotten better over time though and management is always open to suggestions for improvement. -Some of the other comments on here have mentioned the owner being "all over the place", and while I have had similar thoughts at times, the entire management team is aware and we have steadily been setting policies in place to prevent oversteps.
