-Kudos to Strivr for figuring out phase 1 enterprise VR -Kind colleagues to work with

-The core product- 360 video - is gimmicky, over-priced and outdated. After the initial 'wow' factor it doesn't work. -Teams work in silos and don't cross-functionally collaborate -Founding members run a tight-knit circle and executive decisions are made despite employee pushback -A lot of 'drinking the kool-aid' type of culture with a strong-willed CEO but glaring issues of a first-time founder -Poor upper and middle management that does not reward talent / promotes those who follow management orders like bureaucrats rather than those who are truly talented and moving the needle

Pros

Strivr is an exciting company that is constantly innovating and doing great things! Together we have built a really strong virtual reality platform and are exploring new frontiers of mixed reality in our products. All of the teams are very strong, and everyone is super nice, always eager to work together or hop on a call to chat. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Strivr. Also, for the last few months we have been operating on a 4-day workweek.

Kontras

The team has become very lean in the last year. Although we still have many strong team members left, there is less room for exploratory work while everyone is focused on getting our new product out as quick and best as possible.
