Project managers encourage employees to get involved in projects they’re interested in and are willing to accommodate WFH and flexible schedules wherever possible. There are a good amount of opportunities to socialize with coworkers and get involved in interest groups and clubs. Also free snacks!

Be prepared to deal with some lack of direction while you wait for your clearance to come through. Prospective interns should ask about unclassified tasks in the interview. Projects occasionally have people working extra hours but most employees tend to take extra time off the next week to compensate for this.
