Pros
This would be your job that can launch your career, but I recommend to put it in the review mirror asap. - Amazing co-workers, made some friendships I will value forever. - Some free stuff - beer on Fridays, free fruit, some benefits like dental and paid holidays(nothing you wouldn't expect from a company).
Kontras
At first I started out with this: "Where to start, management seems like a good place." But then I realized that management is where it starts and ends. As some people here would tell you, management has a toxic relationship with it's underlings (I use that term to explain the status of the encounters). You are treated like flying monkeys in their cash cow cartel. A certain manager is fond of swearing, and swearing at people in group meetings for not closing a deal. Also, his favorite phrase is: "If you don't like it, there's the door". Thursday is the day of choice the guy shows up in the UK office and it's a game of Russian roulette. The employees stand in a circle for the morning meeting and hoping not to get their face blown off for not having enough closed the previous day. If you're lucky - when you step to the plate, the gun clicks and you survive another week. Their mindset is so fantastically fixed you can notice it in the responses they give people here. When reading this, it feels like I'm listening to a political debate - The awards mean jack when the people you work for despise Sunday nights due to work on Monday. Managers leading by fear seems fashionable. I witnessed first hand the unprofessional nature of the entire management - And when I say entire, I really mean the entire management group.
