Pros

The people were nice at first and it was close to my home, but other than that I am hard-pressed to think of any.

Kontras

They did not honor pre-hire statements and agreements at all. When I was hired, it was for Tier I, and when I began, suddenly I was Tier II (they apparently fired the other Tier I person, and gave me a list of job duties for Tier II without even discussing it with me) and they put a ton of pressure on to be at that level immediately, while also not allowing me access to tools which actually addressed the issues. So they wanted me to try and answer questions for customers without knowing the answers or actually being able to fix things yet. I worked on this regardless because I wanted to give it a shot. There were also issues with prearranged vacation time. When interviewing/accepting the position, I asked if I should begin the position once I was back from this time, because it was approved by my current employer and I didn't want to put anyone in a difficult position. She said they needed me immediately and that the vacation time (two separate weeks) was approved. I put in notice at my current job, then began work two weeks later. Due to using the word "tentative" on a calendar invite for the second week of this vacation time, they decided it was suddenly not set in stone (the tentative referred to the actual dates, as I was uncertain of the specific start/stop dates, just knew the week). They decided to deny it altogether. Apparently right after hiring me, they immediately granted vacation time for the same week to someone else, before clarifying my dates with me, which was awesome, since my travel arrangements were already paid for and non-refundable (since they had already approved it). I obviously asked them to reconsider, so my supervisors took it upon themselves to constantly bother their boss while he was on vacation with it instead of waiting until he got back. Then the two of them basically told me to eat it. Exact words were, "He said to not bring it up again". This was really upsetting, but I agreed. Because I thought it was a good position, and despite this lapse in their judgment (very unprofessional and unkind to their employee to drop that on them, especially in that manner), I would persevere. This was only my second week, mind you. During this week, I experienced a couple of unplanned life events, one being incredibly traumatic, and the main issue being that I cracked a tooth. Their main issue, not mine. We made an immediate appointment to fix it because I needed this procedure done before being out of town for an entire week. I let my supervisors know that I would be completing this the next day, which was a Friday. Hardly any training for me was planned except for helping with editing and updating their website's information and content, which they apparently don't see as important compared to constantly creating new Facebook videos of themselves talking. They take 1-2 hours out of each workday to do "webinars" and "meet and greets" to which nobody shows up, but apparently they are so bogged down with work that I couldn't miss half a day to get a dental crown? I have no idea what their priorities look like. Right after my dental appointment, they called and fired me, which was incredibly surprising. Fired me for missing work for health/dental and family death-related reasons. And she said that part of this overall reason was because I left work 15 minutes early on my birthday the previous week (I told her I didn't need to leave early and she insisted). Incredibly weird people. Sorry, a favor is not a "favor" if you hold it against the person later. A good example of people whose workplace is their whole life, so anyone else who does not sacrifice themselves in the same way is wrong somehow. DO NOT WORK HERE unless you want to work with people will not be understanding about unplanned life events, while expecting you to make concessions for them and their company. They just want you to close the tickets, or bring in money. They will lie to you to get you in the door, then boot you out if your life even slightly interferes with your job.

This was an unfortunate situation where we took a chance on an employee that we normally might not have and it ended up backfiring. It was made very clear to us in her 10 days of employment that there was a misalignment of core values and we had to part ways. We always try to do our best in bringing on team members where we can align your career goals and aspirations to the vision and direction of the company to make it a long term, mutually beneficial relationship.

Pros

I've only been here about six months, but it's been clear from early on that this is a company that genuinely invests in its people. In the tech space it's easy for companies to talk about culture and innovation, but here you actually feel it day to day. The team dynamic is one of the best I've experienced. People are collaborative, high-performing, and remarkably low-ego for how talented they are. There's a real sense of autonomy and trust, where you're given the space to do your best work without micromanagement, but also know your teammates have your back. Leadership has been a genuine bright spot. There's a clear path forward for people who want to grow, and managers here invest real time in mentorship and coaching rather than just checking boxes. I've already had opportunities to take on new challenges that stretched my skills in ways I didn't expect this early in my tenure.

Kontras

The pace of innovation is fast, which is exciting, but it does mean you need to be comfortable with ambiguity and moving quickly. If you prefer a highly structured, slow-moving environment this might feel like a stretch at first. For me personally it's been energizing, but it's worth setting that expectation.

Pros

• Design Culture: It’s refreshing to work at a company where UX isn't an afterthought. Leadership truly understands that the user experience is the product. • Collaborative Environment: The bridge between Product, Engineering, and Design is very strong. Everyone is aligned on making the tool as efficient as possible for the person out in the field. • Meaningful Challenges: You're solving real-world problems for people who aren't sitting at a desk. It requires a high level of empathy and creative problem-solving.

Kontras

The team moves quickly. If you're coming from a massive corporation, the speed of decision-making might be a shift, but it’s great for seeing your work come to life.
