Opportunities to shoulder responsibilities are given early in your career. If you give it your best, those around you and upper management will notice. I have found the workplace to be very results oriented, and more often than not, a strong meritocracy culture prevails.

Change is a constant, and brings with it both the positive (constant change means you get to try out many things, and different ideas, some of them your own), and the negative. Some negatives of constant change is that a lot of energy goes into change management, which perhaps could have been deployed in other areas.
