Pros

Looks good on the C.V. and currently they pay health insurance in some territories. Great exposure to international teams and a very diverse set of skills (line management and customer facing members). Initial pay is good but better negotiate hard on day one because you will quickly become a number when it comes to review in yr 2 and beyond

Kontras

If you are aligned with the little clique that seems to do no wrong and suffer no consequence of outrageously inward looking and self ingratiating policies you will do well. You will occasionally come across true professionals who care about solutions and the people in their care, but this will be increasingly rare. A staggering ability to embark upon organizational change every 12mths and then abort half way through leaving whole groups without the people they need and no way to hire due to a headcount freeze from GVA. A HR system that is totally ineffectual and makes no effort to retain talent. Senior managers with no experience in the fields they manage. Get in and out while this dinosaur still survives as the pay and accountability around performance is poorly managed. Invisible CEO unless you are based in Europe

Pros

Great colleagues across teams and geographies.

Kontras

The company was once a mission-driven environment with strong collaboration and stability, a people first company, but the shift to a profit model emphasizing financial targets has fundamentally altered priorities. Senior leadership struggles to unpack executive vision into clear, actionable direction, often treating their functions as personal experiments rather than aligned team efforts. This has fostered selective attention toward a few individuals while hard-working engineers and other contributors are frequently overlooked in performance evaluations and opportunities-fueling repeated restructurings, team instability, dissolutions, distrust, mismatched and irrelevant performance review processes, neglected areas, and persistent daily frustration with no near-term resolution visible.
