Pros

Company is expanding, shows good signs of growth in terms of career stability and opportunity.

Kontras

Unrealistic production target, mainly because of workflow design that only looks good on paper but not in real life. Some departments are spread out too thin trying to cope with the amount of work and pace needed to reach the targeted output. Bond period of 5 years is too long for the ones joining in as trainee technician. The company doesn’t compensate enough for that kind of loyalty. (and this goes without saying, highlighting the converted amount of money to justify the amount of very little incentive is big no no) The company also downgrades certain overseas study qualifications as it is “not on par” with Singapore’s standard of education. (trying to justify a lower pay maybe?)

Pros

Flexi benefits That's about it.

Kontras

SAESL's management appears to place limited emphasis on talent retention. Employees across all levels, from technicians to executives, often seem to be viewed as easily replaceable, which can negatively affect morale and long-term employee commitment. The organizational structure also appears to have a disproportionately high number of managers and vice presidents. This can result in excessive discussion and oversight, while delaying decisive action. There is a perception that responsibility is frequently shifted between teams instead of focusing on resolving underlying issues. The Quality department is another area of concern. Rather than providing practical guidance and value-added support, it is often perceived as redirecting quality-related issues to the Engineering department. This creates the impression that accountability is being transferred instead of collaboratively addressing problems and preventing their recurrence.
