They give you the freedom to really impact people’s lives when you feel led to. You get to meet some really incredible customers who stand behind the company and will build relationships with you. I’ve had some really special moments with customers that had both of us in tears. Jill is an incredible woman who is committed to her people and her company, and is such an inspiring woman. She truly has a heart of gold.

There tends to be a good bit of drama amongst some of the associates/managers, and you don’t really feel like your back is covered, especially when it comes to stating concerns about or to those above you. Also, with just about any retail position, there are some customers who can be quite nasty to you, a lot of the time just because they can. Some take advantage of the flexibility that comes with certain store policies which is frustrating.
